Home from Korea

After a year being stationed in Korea, my oldest daughter came home to visit. I got to have her at home for a week. My baby is definately all grown up. Im so proud of the woman she has become. I treasured every moment that she was here. Her brother Andrew was estatic to see her. She left to go visit with her dad and my 2 other daughters for a week and then was going to Texas where she is stationed for the next few months. I will be blessed to see her along with my other 2 girls in July for my brothers wedding for 3 days. Then after that Brittany will finish her remainder time in Afghanistan. I love you Brittany and already miss you so much.

July/August

Cant believe that summer is almost over. With the end of summer approaching, my oldest daughter has officially completed basic training (Army)! I am flying to Missouri August 11 to watch her graduate, I cant believe she is already done with her basic training. This year being her senior year of high school. As for me, I am desparately trying to find a duplex that takes section 8 so that I can get out of this hellish neighborhood my kids and I live in.

Over and over again I thought to myself how blessed I am to have such a beautiful daughter both inside/outside. If it wasnt for her, my ex husband, his wife or me wouldnt have been able to see her graduate. So many things I have missed in my daughters 18 yrs of life. Due to a drug addiction that I had, I missed 5 years of my daughters lives. When I cleaned up and came back around, all 3 of my daughters let me back in their lives and over time forgave me. And while I can never make up for lost time, I was able to be there for something so important as what my daughter had decided to do with her life. I sat there next to my ex...
