While I have tried to be optimistic about 2009. It hasnt reflected onto the lives of family/friends. In January my sons aunt was killed by a neighbor. This neighbor had been a troubled gang related teenager. Donna was ran over by this neighbors car. She was alive for 15 mins before passing away in her husbands arms. While I know that everyday we lose good percentage of kids from cancer, it is really upsetting when they are kids you are praying for. In January/February of this year. I lost 4 special little friends from cancer . Tuesday Fiona, Ellie Willaert, Jessica Rose and Cora. I wish people would take the time to read of these kids stories like I do. If people did, they would realize the seriousness of this disease. Well the next 2 months are going to be emotional. My baby sister is getting married in April.
